The SpArc Inner Compass transformational coaching supports client evolutionary growth from a survival-based life orientation to a thriving self-actualized lifestyle. Inner compass coaching includes (12) 60 minute coaching sessions alongside (2) vision quest challenges over a three to six month program. (Client’s will have the option to engage in weekly or bi-weekly sessions per their discretion which culminates into the 3-6 month engagement). Vision quest challenges are full day experiences designed to test physical, mental and spiritual resolve toward the integration of clearly defined goals. The Inner Compass path requires a willingness to fearlessly explore both the light and shadow within the self to find harmony & balance. I ask for your vulnerability, openness, and commitment as we navigate and refine your inner waters of potential to distill down your true alchemical gold. You are the navigator of your own destiny. This coaching path is about empowering and embracing your highest creative nature, so you can embody the change you wish to see in the world.
Before considering where you’re headed on this journey of self-discovery & growth, its essential that you’re grounded in clear code of virtue to emerge in accountability. The Four Agreements is a seminal text written by the Toltec elder Don Miguel Ruiz, that highlights simple yet powerful foundational life principles to live by. These agreements although humble in scope, can be profoundly difficult to honor given the myriad of cultural and social agreements most of us have been saturated with since birth. As part of our evolutionary journey together, we will adhere to these core principles to the very best of our ability (Agreement four!) to ensure we are operating from a place of shared values with integrity and care…
Be Impeccable with Your Word: Speak with Integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using words to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word to offer love. Never use it to cause fear or pain in another or yourself.
Don’t Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say or do is a result of their own dream or perception of rules. We all make rules about hoiw things should be, but when you are immune to the opinions of others, and honor them as projections of their own perceptions and not “the truth”, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
Don’t Make Assumptions: Find the quiet courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings and drama. Never act on possibilities without ensuring accuracy through brave and honest inquiry. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Always Do Your Best: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.
Letting Go: Transcending Levels of Consciousness through Letting Go
Although coaching unlike therapy is focused on the road ahead, healing is a critical element to every path of growth. In Western society, often we are taught at a young age there are two main channels of coping with our emotions. Expression and Repression. Expression refers to the active release of emotions in a shared experience. This often takes place in a period of duress and turmoil in a highly charged fashion. Common negative emotions such as grief, fear, anger, pride, guilt and pride may find their way into a highly opinionated vocal exchange fueled by judgement, self-righteousness and agenda. Repression on the other hand, is the bottling up of our emotions often for fear of facing the gravity and intensity of their expression. Repression can lead to numerous psycho-somatic injuries, dis-ease, anxiety and other highly disruptive mental health challenges brought on by shame, guilt, resentment and fear. Repression also often leads to a feeling of overwhelm that may ultimately result in a reactive eruption of expressed emotion. Both of these strategies are both deeply attuned to the sympathetic nervous system (Fight, Flight, Freeze or Fawn) and although may offer short term relief, often lead to chronic stress and long term mental health concerns…
There is however a third way for working through intense emotions and that is the path of surrender. In the West, we often refer to surrender as the relinquishing of one’s power to the mercy of a stronger dominant force. Yet in the East, as well as mystic traditions and holistic spiritual psychotherapy practices, the path of surrender is relinquishing the Egoic self to the internal mastery of the true Soul-oriented self. One’s essential unified nature. The Path of letting go is a technique popularized in by the late great Dr. David Hawkins; and is also championed in a slightly different orientation in the masterful five decade long practice of Dr. Chip Baggett. It works upon the principle of diffusing powerful negative E-Motions (Energy in Motion) by fully embracing the feeling without creating an attachment to the internal narratives. Pain is perceived as a signal sent toward the psyche bringing an awareness to a misalignment with one’s core nature. By loving and accepting the pain in the heart as opposed to expressing, repressing or resisting it, it allows that E-motion to run its course diffusing that energy and allowing for a new soul perspective to take shape. Its time to put down the story and the small payoffs of the Ego to allow the body to process wounds of the heart through radical acceptance, allowance, humble honoring, and Letting Go. This is the primary technique utilized by the SpArc to support the transcending from negative entrenched emotions, which align with lower frequency consciousness levels to support a sustainable emergence into higher sovereign and empowered ways of being.
Creativity is not just for artists. Creativity is a way of engaging with the world. We are not reactors, nor are we responders, we are born creators. When we approach challenge, it is not in our innate nature to “Fix” the situation. The idea of fixing within a set framework of possibilities and protocols is a highly learned behavior. Not every trial, person or project we encounter in life is a puzzle in need of a clever solution. Creativity sees the road ahead as an unfolding series of wondrous learning opportunities. One where challenge and triumph, winners and losers, is replaced by tension spaces that provide opportunities to create. The Creative Orientation by Robert Fritz and the Creative Act by Rick Rubin forms the basis for how the SpArc engages with radical creativity as a tool for self-actualization. It’s time to stop operating within the limitations of a world that perceives problems in need of fixing with precise measurements right angles, hammers and nails. Its time to embrace the world as a blossoming landscape of innumerable opportunities to approach with paint brushes and an open pallet, using our creative genius to activate our vast visionary potential toward the evolutionary benefit of ourselves, our communities and the world.
Each coaching journey begins with a Braverman Personality Assessment. The Braverman uses an extensive personality questionnaire to review memory, attention, physical state, character and personal values – to determine what neurochemical is dominant or primary in your nature. It also tracks how you react, respond, and/or create under stressful conditions to explore potential sources of deficiencies.
The four main neurotransmitters assessed are dopamine, acetylcholine, serotonin, and Gaba. With insight from this review, we can determine a health and wellness protocol to support your growth along the coaching journey. This can include inviting new mindful modalities, shifts in nutrition, supplementation, exercise, and/or a micro-dose regimen to optimize focus, rest, flow, energy and well-being.
The SpArc coaching programs are all about creating measurable and achievable results. Yet data is only part of the picture. Each client with learning first hand how personal shifts in choice & orientation can dramatically transform your life. Yet an even more important discovery – is why those shifts are so important to the soul. Whether it’s career success, creating healthier relationships, finding more buoyancy and inner peace in the day-to-day, or a fusion of all of the above – clients are encouraged to track changes with outcomes that are SMART (See Acronym below) in their design.
Yet life isn’t all about the destination. With this fact firmly in mind, the SpArc has created a second key category where goals can be measured to ensure the integrity of our aim. What lights you up with meaning? What inspires the extraordinary in you? What are you willing to push harder for.. than you ever have in your entire life? What type of change is so core to your being that just the mere pursuit brings a state of gratitude and reverence to your life? These are the deeper questions we work toward together with our METTA goal focus. (See Acronym Below)
